This role is responsible for qualifying and industrializing advanced PTFE‑cored aerospace hose assemblies, from test planning through stable production. You'll play a hands‑on role bringing a newly installed braiding line into full operational readiness while ensuring compliance with rigorous aerospace standards.

Job Description

  • Lead qualification of PTFE‑cored aerospace hose families to customer and industry standards
  • Develop and execute test plans covering proof, burst, impulse, temperature, and vacuum testing
  • Bring a newly installed spiral braiding line into stable, repeatable production
  • Author and maintain control plans, inspection procedures, and qualification documentation
  • Interface with external test labs, OEMs, and airframers during approval and certification activities
  • Act as a technical SME for hose design, braiding, and process capability

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace or high‑spec hose, tubing, or fluid conveyance products
  • Direct experience with PTFE or fluoropolymer hose qualification and testing standards
  • Background in writing and executing qualification, validation, and inspection documentation
  • Exposure to braided or spiral‑reinforced products (hose, conduit, cable, or similar)
  • Ability to work on‑site in Massachusetts; U.S. person status required due to program constraints
