Job Description

  • Develop, edit, and optimize CMM programs using PC-DMIS and MCOSMOS
  • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications to define inspection strategies
  • Establish robust fixturing and measurement setups to ensure accuracy and repeatability
  • Conduct detailed inspections to verify compliance with engineering drawings and standards
  • Perform MSA and Gage R&R studies to validate measurement systems
  • Create and maintain quality documentation including Control Plans, FAI, and PPAP packages
  • Ensure all processes and documentation align with contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering, machining, and quality teams to drive improvements
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years of hands-on CMM programming experience (PC-DMIS or MCOSMOS)
  • Strong expertise in GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection methodologies
  • Experience working within ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 environments
  • Background in manufacturing quality engineering, ideally within precision machining or aerospace
  • Proficiency with statistical tools such as Minitab and SPC
  • Associate's degree required (Engineering or related field), Bachelor's preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant quality engineering experience overall
  • Experience with Supplier Quality and aerospace machining suppliers is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of PPAP and quality process deployment
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with minimal supervision
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
