They prioritize strict compliance, advanced manufacturing practices, and continuous improvement while fostering a collaborative, performance-focused culture.Job DescriptionLead quality activities throughout the NPI process, from design transfer through production launchSupport design reviews to ensure quality, manufacturability, and compliance requirements are defined earlyDevelop and execute quality plans, including control plans, PFMEA, and inspection strategiesOversee First Article Inspection (FAI) processes in accordance with AS9102 or customer requirementsDrive risk identification and mitigation using tools such as PFMEA, risk registers, and design validationCollaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure process capability and production readinessEnsure proper validation of processes, equipment, and inspection methods (IQ/OQ/PQ as applicable)Partner with suppliers to support qualification, PPAP submissions, and incoming quality requirementsLead root cause analysis and corrective actions for issues identified during development and launch phasesEstablish inspection criteria and ensure alignment with engineering drawings and GD&T requirementsSupport internal and customer audits related to new product introduction activitiesMonitor key launch metrics and drive continuous improvement initiativesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
