Job Description

  • Partner with plant leadership to establish and drive quality improvement initiatives aligned with business goals
  • Lead supplier quality improvement efforts, including PPAP, APQP, and reduction of supplier impact events
  • Drive resolution of technical quality issues across manufacturing with a focus on process stability
  • Develop and implement process controls, gaging strategies, and "no‑touch" inspection technologies
  • Support quality technicians by tracking performance goals and providing technical guidance
  • Lead corrective actions related to supplier nonconformances and quality system adherence
  • Mentor internal teams on APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and standard work

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering with a strong quality focus
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, supplier quality, or operations
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T, metrology, gage R&R, and capability studies
  • Experience with machining and assembly processes (CNC, grinding, tight‑tolerance manufacturing)
  • Hands‑on experience with supplier quality tools and process improvement methodologies
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot manufacturing processes and drive root cause solutions
  • Injection Molding experience preferred
