Job Description

  • Generate and manage inspection documentation including FAIRs, PPAPs, and inspection plans
  • Program and operate advanced vision and measurement systems for incoming and final inspections
  • Set daily priorities within the QA/QC lab to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and on-time delivery
  • Train inspectors and develop clear work instructions and visual aids
  • Manage inspection software and implement process improvements for data and workflow optimization
  • Act as a quality interface for suppliers and customers, driving issue resolution and improvement
  • Lead MRB and RMA activities, ensuring timely and effective customer responses
  • Perform root cause analysis using structured quality tools (8D, Ishikawa, FMEA, 5-Why)
  • Apply statistical tools to analyze trends and support decision-making
  • Support product testing, audits, and customer quality flow-down requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering and NPD teams to improve yield and inspection methods
  • Design fixtures and support automation and new inspection technologies

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems; AS9100 experience preferred
  • Experience with ERP platforms and quality/inspection software
  • Skilled in data analysis, reporting, and Excel
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles
  • Strong communication skills with customer and supplier interaction experience
  • U.S. citizenship required
