Job Description

  • Lead root‑cause analysis of field‑returned and in‑house failed units to identify failure modes
  • Develop and implement containment actions, corrective actions, and preventive measures
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities across operations
  • Track, measure, and report the long‑term effectiveness of corrective actions
  • Partner with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues
  • Support the design and improvement of fixtures, instrumentation, and test methods
  • Communicate findings and improvement initiatives clearly across departments
  • Contribute to achieving company‑wide quality and reliability performance targets

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Process Engineering (or similar)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems such as gear trains, hydraulics, or rotating machinery
  • Experience performing root‑cause analysis in a manufacturing environment
  • Comfortable using Excel for calculations, data analysis, and visualization
  • Experience creating and maintaining SOPs and process documentation
  • Hands‑on, proactive problem solver with strong communication skills
