Job Description

  • Champion safety-first culture across all quality and manufacturing activities
  • Lead qualification plans for new and modified products/processes
  • Apply APQP tools (FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, risk assessments) to strengthen quality systems
  • Investigate customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and implement CAPA solutions
  • Analyse quality data to identify trends, reduce defects, and lower cost of poor quality
  • Enhance corrective action processes to ensure sustainable resolution of issues
  • Develop and track key quality and manufacturing performance metrics
  • Support new product development teams through stage gate quality deliverables
  • Maintain and improve quality systems, audit processes, and data collection methods
  • Coordinate regulatory compliance and certification activities
  • Deliver training on quality processes and product standards
  • Support supplier quality through qualification, monitoring, and issue resolution
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to drive improvements

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
  • Proven experience in manufacturing/operations environments
  • 5+ years driving quality improvements in industrial settings
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and quality methodologies
  • Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred) and ASQ certifications (advantageous)
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Minitab, and data analysis tools
  • Experience with SharePoint for collaboration and programme management
  • Strong statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communicator with strong teamwork and leadership capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results with accuracy
  • Experience working with suppliers and quality compliance systems
  • Hands-on mindset with presence on the manufacturing floor
