Job Description

  • Investigate product and manufacturing-related quality issues to identify root causes of failures and drive effective resolution efforts
  • Lead containment activities, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to address nonconformances and improve overall product performance
  • Analyze quality and operational data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for process optimization
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of corrective actions to ensure sustained improvements and long-term resolution of quality concerns
  • Support the development and implementation of testing methods, process controls, fixtures, and inspection approaches as needed to improve product reliability and manufacturing consistency
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, supply chain, and leadership teams to resolve quality concerns and drive operational improvements
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and quality initiatives clearly across departments to support alignment and execution
  • Contribute to overall quality, operational, and continuous improvement objectives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred
  • Foundational understanding of mechanical and manufacturing systems, including complex assemblies, rotating equipment, hydraulics, and electromechanical processes
  • Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis, calculations, reporting, and visualization of quality and manufacturing metrics
  • Experience developing and maintaining SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset, with a proactive, hands-on approach to identifying issues and driving effective solutions
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to identify trends and translate data into actionable improvements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams and all levels of an organization
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges in a fast-paced production environment
  • Experience in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing environments, ideally supporting production, quality, or process improvement initiatives
  • Previous experience in a Quality Engineering or manufacturing-focused role preferred, ideally within high-volume and complex manufacturing environments such as automotive, transportation equipment, or industrial products
