Job Description

  • Issue and follow up on all internal, customer and supplier corrective actions. Generate a weekly report on the status of all corrective actions for key stakeholders
  • Assist Quality Control Manager in PPAP's and annual resubmissions of active parts.
  • Direct team members engaged in measuring, testing, and tabulating data concerning quality and reliability.
  • Control supplier quality, ISO and IATF, to ensure they are compliant and performing to capabilities.
  • Keep MRB data up to date based on regularly occurring meetings
  • Update QIP's when necessary.
  • Perform general QA/QC activity as needed

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5+ years of manufacturing experience within quality engineering
  • Experience with APQP
  • Experience with IATF 16949 required
  • Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAPs
  • Metal stamping experience is strongly preferred, general metal fabrication exposure required
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred, extensive relevant experience in lieu of degree is acceptable
  • Sponsorship is not provided
