Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality inspection and assurance plans to ensure salable, customer‑compliant product.
  • Analyse process outputs to identify gaps and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead quality investigations related to internal issues and customer complaints using structured RCA and CAPA methodologies.
  • Create and approve quality plans, work instructions, inspection methods, sampling plans, and first article inspection plans.
  • Design and develop inspection fixtures, tools, and gauges to support manufacturing.
  • Program and support CMM inspection activities, with training available on PC‑DMIS software.
  • Partner with production, engineering, and sales to review and disposition non‑conforming material and customer waivers.
  • Provide hands‑on guidance, training, and mentoring to inspectors, operators, and engineers.
  • Support internal audits, supplier quality, SCARs, management reviews, and QMS requirements.
  • Drive preventive action and "right first time" initiatives through PPAP, PFMEA, and SPC implementation.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance role within manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulated industry standards.
  • Proven experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Confident communicator able to influence across all levels of the organisation.
