This Quality Engineer will partner with engineering, manufacturing, and operations to improve product and process quality using data‑driven methods. The role is hands‑on, highly collaborative, and focused on validation, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.

Job Description

  • Lead product and process quality improvements using statistical tools and audits
  • Participate in MRB activities and manage NCRs, CAPAs, and corrective actions
  • Develop and execute process validations (PFMEA, OQ/PQ, PPAP, FAIR)
  • Analyze manufacturing data to reduce variation, defects, and waste
  • Manage internal and external change control, including customer specifications
  • Support customer complaints, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quality Engineer should have:

  • BS in Engineering or related technical/scientific discipline
  • 1-3 years of experience in a medical device manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 13485 and working knowledge of FDA CFR Part 820
  • Experience with process and product validation activities
  • Analytical mindset with statistical knowledge (Minitab preferred)
  • Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills
