Job Description

  • Provide hands-on quality support directly on the manufacturing floor
  • Lead and coordinate First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102
  • Partner with production, engineering, and suppliers to resolve quality issues
  • Support supplier quality, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Investigate nonconformances and drive root cause / corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, customer, and regulatory requirements

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quality Engineer should have:

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or quality engineering
  • Strong understanding of First Article Inspections (FAI) and production processes
  • Experience working in regulated environments (aerospace preferred)
  • Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 standards preferred
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
  • Hands-on, on-the-floor mindset with strong problem-solving skills
