We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality operations, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across a precision manufacturing environment. This role will oversee quality systems, audits, inspections, and cross-functional quality programs that directly impact product safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

  • Lead and continuously enhance the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Manage quality inspectors, quality engineers, and document control functions.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards.
  • Oversee certifications, quality documentation, and customer-specific compliance requirements.
  • Plan and lead internal audits while supporting customer and third-party certification audits.
  • Maintain calibration programs for inspection and measurement equipment.
  • Drive root cause investigations and corrective/preventive action programs.
  • Evaluate supplier quality performance and incoming material quality.
  • Analyze quality metrics and present performance reports to leadership.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and production teams to improve quality outcomes and reduce defects.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong expertise with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Experience conducting internal, supplier, and compliance audits.
  • Knowledge of machining, metal manufacturing, or industrial production processes.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
  • Experience using ERP systems and quality data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with calibration processes and inspection equipment management.
  • Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop quality teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience leading corrective action initiatives.
