Job Description

  • Lead and maintain a robust Quality Management System aligned with ISO standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on scrap reduction, efficiency, and process optimization
  • Own supplier quality, including audits, performance metrics, and corrective actions
  • Partner with engineering and production to resolve process and quality issues
  • Use SPC and data analysis to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
  • Develop SOPs, work instructions, and control plans to support manufacturing operations
  • Train and mentor teams on quality standards, tools, and best practices
  • Act as a technical liaison with vendors and third‑party partners
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with customer and regulatory quality requirements

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of quality or process engineering experience in manufacturing
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9000 quality systems
  • Hands‑on experience with Lean manufacturing principles
  • Proven analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • CQE or similar certification
  • Automotive manufacturing experience
  • Six Sigma tools and value stream mapping
  • Spanish language skills preferred
  • Advanced data analysis or QMS software experience
