Job Description

  • Champion and maintain a fully certified QMS aligned with AS9100D, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Serve as the Management Representative during audits, customer visits, and regulatory assessments.
  • Oversee inspection and testing operations across the full manufacturing lifecycle.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a skilled team of Quality Engineers and Inspectors.
  • Build and enhance quality evaluation and control systems within production and materials processing.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to strengthen process capability and maintain robust controls.
  • Lead internal audits, CAPA, customer complaint resolution, and management review activities.
  • Oversee document control, equipment calibration, nonconformance tracking, RMAs/MRBs, and full traceability systems.
  • Collaborate directly with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies on quality performance and compliance.
  • Track, analyze, and present critical KPIs such as Customer PPM, Supplier PPM, Cost of Quality, and audit outcomes.
  • Recommend and implement new quality standards, procedures, and methods to support continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with evolving industry and regulatory requirements, including FDA expectations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of recent quality leadership experience within regulated industries such as aerospace, medical devices, defense, or precision manufacturing.
  • Experience with medical device environments; FDA regulatory exposure is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016, and ITAR/EAR requirements.
  • Proficiency with APQP, PPAP, FAI, SPC, MSA, and GD&T.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a track record of driving corrective and preventive actions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence, coach, and collaborate across teams.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
