Job Description

  • Lead and continuously improve the site Quality Management System (QMS) to align with business goals and operational excellence.
  • Own nonconformances, CAPA, and root cause analysis, ensuring issues are resolved and prevented long‑term.
  • Establish, track, and analyze quality KPIs, using data to drive decision‑making and improvement.
  • Serve as the primary quality contact for customers, managing audits, issue resolution, and ongoing relationships.
  • Lead internal, customer, supplier, and third‑party audits, ensuring readiness and strong follow‑up.
  • Champion continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem‑solving methodologies.
  • Partner closely with Operations and Engineering to improve process capability, reduce variation, and eliminate waste.
  • Drive supplier quality improvements in collaboration with Supply Chain and Purchasing.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Quality team while building a strong, site‑wide quality culture.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (ABET‑accredited preferred).
  • 6-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO‑based quality systems and quality audits.
  • Proven experience with CAPA, root cause analysis, and structured problem‑solving tools (8D, DMAIC, PDCA).
  • Experience applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies in real‑world manufacturing settings.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation across mechanical, pneumatic, electronic, or related disciplines.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across functions.
