Our client is looking for a Quality Manager with experience in ISO 9001 environments, as well as a strong background in corrective actions, root cause analysis, and driving process improvements within manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who communicates effectively, has proven team management experience, and can collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

Job Description

  • Lead and support ISO 9001 internal and external audits
  • Manage corrective actions and perform root cause analysis using 8D methodologies
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations
  • Support quality activities related to CNC and CMM inspection equipment
  • Collaborate with customers and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues
  • Review and approve PPAPs and First Article Inspections (FAIs)
  • Communicate quality standards and problem-solving initiatives across cross-functional teams

The Successful Applicant

  • Prior experience in a Quality leadership role within manufacturing
  • Bachelor's degree Preferred
  • ISO 9001 auditing experience
  • Strong working knowledge of root cause analysis, CAPAs
  • Experience managing/improving Quality Management Systems
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to ITAR requirements
  • Must be eligible to obtain or possess a valid Illinois FOID card
  • Sponsorship not provided
