Operating within a strict compliance framework, they are committed to AS9100 standards, customer-specific requirements, and a culture centered on product quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.Job DescriptionLead and maintain the AS9100-compliant Quality Management System (QMS), serving as the primary contact for audits and certification bodiesOversee inspection, testing, and release of manufactured components, ensuring product conformity and quality standardsPrepare and review First Article Inspection (FAI) reports in accordance with AS9102 requirementsDrive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), utilizing structured root cause methodologies such as 8D and 5-WhyLead Material Review Board (MRB) activities and manage disposition of nonconforming materialsPartner with procurement to evaluate, audit, and approve suppliers while ensuring compliance with AMS and ASTM standardsManage calibration systems and ensure accuracy of measurement equipment (gages, micrometers, CMMs, etc.)Supervise, train, and mentor quality personnel, fostering a high-performance team environmentTrack and report key quality metrics including KPIs and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and operations to improve quality outcomesContinuously improve processes, inspection methods, and documentation workflowsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
