Job Description

The Quality Assurance Analytics Specialist is a Quality Assurance professional who applies data analytics to support food safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement within manufacturing operations. This role owns the analysis and interpretation of quality data to strengthen GMP, HACCP, FSMA, and GFSI compliance, support audits and investigations, and proactively identify quality risks. The Specialist partners with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to translate quality performance data into actionable improvement initiatives that protect product integrity and regulatory readiness.

  • Lead data-driven analysis of quality incidents, deviations, and trends to support root cause investigations and CAPA effectiveness
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma and statistical tools to quality system performance, not general business metrics
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that monitor food safety, compliance, and quality KPIs
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of quality data used for audits, specifications, certifications, and regulatory inspections
  • Partner cross-functionally to translate quality data into practical, floor-level improvements
  • Maintain quality documentation aligned with GMP, FSMA, and GFSI requirements

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quality Systems Specialist should have:

  • 2+ years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience in food manufacturing
  • Direct experience with GMPs, HACCP, FSMA, and GFSI-based audits
  • Participation in internal, customer, or regulatory audits
  • Experience supporting quality investigations, deviations, CAPAs, or non‑conformances
  • Strong understanding of food safety systems and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in Excel and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab)
  • Experience working with quality-related systems (SAP, PLM, RedZone preferred)
  • Ability to visualize and communicate quality data clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
