Its solutions are used on passenger trains, metros, light rail vehicles, and trams, helping operators improve reliability, safety, efficiency, and passenger experience.Job DescriptionThe Reliability Engineer will be responsible for the following:Develop and execute reliability plans for new and existing products.Perform reliability predictions, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), fault tree analysis (FTA), and root cause investigations.Analyze field failure data, warranty claims, and service reports to identify trends and reliability concerns.Define reliability metrics, targets, and performance indicators.Support Design for Reliability (DfR) initiatives throughout the product lifecycle.Lead structured root cause analysis activities using methodologies such as 8D, Fishbone, 5-Why, and CAPA.Investigate component, subsystem, and system-level failures.Recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve product performance and durability.Collaborate with suppliers to resolve recurring reliability and quality issues.Prepare reliability reports, technical documentation, and engineering recommendations.Maintain reliability databases and performance tracking systems.Support compliance with applicable industry, customer, and regulatory requirements.Present findings and recommendations to engineering leadership and project teams.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
