Their culture emphasizes engineering excellence, cross-functional collaboration, customer partnership, and disciplined problem solving.Job DescriptionOwn reliability measurement, analysis, trending, and reporting across key projects and product linesCalculate and report MTBF, MDBF, and other contractual reliability KPIsMonitor compliance with reliability requirements, fleet-defect thresholds, and failure-trend triggersIdentify emerging reliability risks and proactively escalate concernsServe as the primary owner of reliability data integrity and reconciliation activitiesCoordinate with customers, transit authorities, engineering, quality, field service, and project teamsMaintain and improve FRACAS processes and reliability tracking systemsAnalyze recurring failures and identify statistically significant trendsLead and coordinate FAR activities, corrective actions, and validation effortsPrepare monthly reliability reports and present performance trends to leadershipSupport Failure Review Board activities with actionable, fact-based reliability analysisLead root-cause investigations and coordinate technical subject matter expertsApply structured problem-solving methodologies, including DMAIC principlesMeasure and validate the effectiveness of corrective actions through statistical analysisSupport customer discussions by providing accurate and traceable reliability dataTravel to customer sites, rail yards, and operational facilities as requiredDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability and performance optimizationMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
