With ongoing investment in people, technology, and operations, the company is well-positioned for continued success and is seeking a skilled Residential Estimator to support its expanding preconstruction function.Job DescriptionReporting to the Preconstruction Manager, the Residential Estimator will be responsible for preparing competitive and accurate proposals for residential concrete construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to support the procurement of new work.Review and analyse project drawings, specifications, addenda, and bid documentation for residential construction projects.Perform detailed quantity take-offs for concrete, reinforcement, formwork, voids, and associated materials using estimating software.Develop comprehensive project estimates, including labour, materials, equipment, overheads, and profit considerations.Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure alignment with scope and project requirements.Prepare professional bid submissions, including clarifications, exclusions, assumptions, and qualifications.Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure accurate pricing and scope definition.Maintain bid tracking systems, support bid reviews, and contribute to project handovers as required.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
