Its reputation is built on strong relationships with developers, architects, and subcontractors, ensuring streamlined communication and timely delivery across a variety of complex builds.Job DescriptionThe Safety Coordinator - Projects up to $200M+ - NoVA/DC will be responsible for:Supporting the implementation and enforcement of site-specific safety plans on projects up to $200M+ across the NoVA/DC regionConducting regular jobsite safety walks, inspections, and hazard assessments to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standardsAssisting with preconstruction safety planning and onboarding of subcontractors, including reviewing site logistics and risk mitigation plansLeading toolbox talks, safety meetings, and daily briefings to reinforce safety expectations on siteMaintaining accurate safety documentation including incident reports, audits, permits, and training recordsPartnering with superintendents and project teams to proactively identify and address safety risksAssisting in the investigation of incidents and near misses, including documentation and follow-up on corrective actionsMonitoring PPE compliance and overall adherence to jobsite safety protocolsPromoting a positive safety culture by engaging with field teams and reinforcing best practicesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
