Job Description

  • Lead and manage all site safety programmes, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across multiple projects
  • Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and onboarding sessions for staff and subcontractors
  • Investigate incidents, near-misses, and hazards, implementing corrective actions
  • Maintain and update safety documentation, policies, and reporting systems
  • Partner with project managers and site teams to proactively identify risks
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the company's safety culture
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in a Safety Manager or similar role within construction
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a hands-on approach
  • Ability to work across multiple sites within Southern Maine
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30+, CHST, CSP) are preferred
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
