This role will drive a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and support field teams on complex healthcare, laboratory, academic, and commercial projects.

Job Description

  • Lead all safety programs and initiatives for construction projects throughout the Boston market.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain company safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Conduct regular jobsite inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with project managers, superintendents, and field personnel to promote a proactive safety culture.
  • Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and ongoing education to employees and subcontractors.
  • Monitor safety performance metrics and recommend continuous improvement strategies.
  • Support projects in healthcare, life sciences, higher education, commercial, defense, and infrastructure environments.
  • Travel between project sites, with the majority of work located in Downtown Boston and surrounding suburbs.

The Successful Applicant

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Experience managing construction safety programs in a general contracting or construction management environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices.
  • Ability to perform site inspections, safety audits, incident investigations, and training programs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence both field and office personnel.
  • Experience working on complex construction projects in active or occupied environments.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting healthcare, laboratory, life sciences, or higher education construction projects.
  • Relevant safety certifications and professional credentials.
  • Background supporting both ground-up construction and renovation/build-out projects.
