Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Lead safety training sessions and ensure OSHA compliance across all projects.
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective action plans.
  • Partner closely with Superintendents and Project Managers on safety planning.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting related to safety performance.
  • Promote a proactive, zero‑incident safety culture across all job sites.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Safety Manager should have:

  • Proven experience as a Safety Manager in commercial construction.
  • Certifications required: OSHA 500 / OSHA 510 (or equivalent).
  • Background with a larger GC or structured safety program preferred.
  • Strong field presence and ability to influence jobsite behavior.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety regulations.
  • Stable work history with strong tenure.
  • Hands‑on, practical, and respected by field teams ("credibility in the field").
