About Our Client

My client is a top contractor throughout the Carolinas. They are a wide spread GC that has created a strong footprint In the Carolinas over the past 80 years. They have won numerous awards for their projects and have developed great relationships with clients and subs in the markets they serve. They build office spaces, health care facilities, and industrial buildings, and education projects such as university classrooms, typically in the range of $50M-$150M. There has been a significant amount of growth in the Raleigh market and they are currently looking to add to their great team. Job Description

This position will be responsible for the following:

    • Lead and enforce jobsite safety programs across multiple projects
    • Ensure full compliance with OSHA standards and company policies
    • Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and safety assessments
    • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
    • Partner with Superintendents and Project Managers to drive a proactive safety culture
    • Deliver safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks
    • Track, report, and analyze safety metrics and performance data

The Successful Applicant

The right fit candidate will have the following experience:

  • Proven experience in a Safety Manager or Senior Safety role within commercial construction
  • Background working on ground-up commercial or institutional projects
  • Strong field presence with the ability to influence crews and leadership
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Demonstrates longevity and stability in previous roles
  • Hands-on, practical mindset with an "old-school" approach to safety and accountability
  • OSHA certification required (CHST or CSP preferred)
