Job Description

The Safety Manager will report to senior operations leadership and partner closely with project teams to support safe and successful project delivery.

  • Lead and enforce company safety programs across multiple active construction projects
  • Conduct site audits, inspections, and safety assessments to identify and mitigate risk
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, company policies, and client requirements
  • Deliver safety training, onboarding, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety education
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries while developing corrective action plans
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain safe work environments
  • Track safety metrics and continuously improve safety performance across projects

The Successful Applicant

For the Safety Manager - Commercial Construction we are seeking:

  • 5+ years of construction safety experience within commercial construction
  • Experience supporting ground-up construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations and industry best practices
  • Experience conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
  • Ability to build relationships with both field and office personnel
  • Experience delivering safety training and developing safety programs
  • Familiarity with construction management software and reporting systems
  • OSHA 30 certification required
  • OSHA 500, CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician), CSP (Certified Safety Professional), or other safety certifications preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
