Job Description

  • Drive sales growth across existing customers while identifying and developing new accounts and market opportunities
  • Serve as a technical sales resource, deeply understanding company products, processes, materials, and end-use applications
  • Manage a portfolio of customers independently, building strong, long-term business relationships
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new leads across all product lines and markets
  • Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Manufacturing to interpret and manage customer requirements
  • Support and manage customer orders, shipments, backlog, and opportunity pipelines
  • Cost new and existing business opportunities with an understanding of long-term growth potential
  • Actively participate in trade shows, exhibitions, lunch-and-learn events, and customer visits
  • Support first articles, prototypes, samples, and qualification activities as required
  • Develop structured daily, weekly, and monthly routines to manage a dynamic workload
  • Contribute energy, technical knowledge, and a solutions-oriented mindset with customers and internal teams
  • Support business growth initiatives with partners, distributors, equipment manufacturers, and material suppliers

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with relevant market exposure (electronics, EMI/RFI products, electromechanical assemblies, coatings, or similar)
  • Proven success managing customer relationships and driving growth in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • Strong technical communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Comfortable operating independently with minimal oversight in a results-driven environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support customers and business development efforts
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; SolidWorks experience a plus
  • Prior experience with ERP and CRM systems preferred (e.g., E2 Shoptech, JobBOSS, HubSpot)
  • Experience supporting Medical and/or Military customers is a plus
