Job Description

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies focused on targeted industries, customers, and growth opportunities.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities that align with organisational growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain key customer relationships, strategic partnerships, and industry networks.
  • Represent the business at customer meetings, trade exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
  • Manage the front end of the sales pipeline by generating and qualifying opportunities.
  • Develop and oversee strategies for an independent sales representative network, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, operations, and leadership teams to support customer engagement and proposal development.
  • Support major customer presentations and contribute to successful commercial outcomes.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform growth strategies.
  • Act as a brand ambassador and maintain a strong presence within key industry sectors.

The Successful Applicant

    • 8-10+ years of experience in business development, strategic sales, account management, or market development within industrial manufacturing, engineered products, petrochemical, power generation, or related technical sectors.
    • A proven track record of identifying, pursuing, and converting new business opportunities into measurable revenue growth.
    • Experience creating and executing business growth plans, market expansion initiatives, and strategic partnership programmes.
    • Strong relationship-building abilities with customers, channel partners, independent representatives, and industry stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with sales, operations, engineering, and executive leadership teams.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and organisational skills.
    • A self-motivated and strategic mindset, with the ability to work independently while influencing key stakeholders.
    • Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
