Job Description

  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic OEM and contract manufacturing customers across multiple industries
  • Drive profitable sales growth through a combination of account expansion and new business development
  • Build and strengthen relationships across customer organizations, including engineering, operations, procurement, and executive leadership teams
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities within existing accounts while uncovering whitespace opportunities in targeted markets
  • Serve as the primary commercial lead throughout the sales process, from initial engagement through awarded business and program launch
  • Partner closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop customer-specific solutions and support complex molding and assembly programs
  • Lead customer discussions around technical capabilities, manufacturing processes, program requirements, and long-term partnership opportunities
  • Navigate sophisticated sales cycles involving custom-engineered products, tooling investments, and assembly-intensive solutions
  • Research target markets, industry trends, and customer initiatives to identify future growth opportunities
  • Develop and present compelling business proposals and commercial strategies to prospective and existing customers
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and customer activity reporting
  • Represent the organization at customer sites, industry events, and key business meetings throughout North America

The Successful Applicant

  • 3-7+ years of successful B2B sales experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience selling contract manufacturing, plastic injection molding, engineered components, assemblies, or related manufacturing solutions strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to drive both new business development and strategic account growth
  • Comfortable selling technically complex products and programs with long sales cycles
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work effectively alongside engineering and technical teams
  • Experience engaging with large OEM customers and navigating complex organizational structures
  • Skilled at developing long-term customer relationships built on trust, responsiveness, and value creation
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify profitable growth opportunities and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable operating in a remote, travel-oriented environment
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Injection molding experience highly preferred
  • P&L ownership, program management, or broader commercial leadership experience is a plus
