Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and evaluate electrical and electronic systems for complex industrial equipment.
  • Support development efforts involving power distribution, control systems, automation technologies, and electromechanical subsystems.
  • Participate in requirements definition, design reviews, verification activities, and validation testing.
  • Conduct engineering analysis, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and external development partners.
  • Select components and hardware based on technical requirements, reliability, and performance objectives.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable safety, industry, and customer requirements.
  • Support configuration management and engineering change processes throughout product development.
  • Interface with manufacturing, supply chain, and technical stakeholders to support successful product execution.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience designing electrical or electronic hardware systems.
  • Experience with complex electrical architectures, controls, power systems, or automation equipment.
  • Proficiency with schematic capture, PCB design, simulation, and electrical design tools.
  • Experience participating in technical reviews and structured engineering development processes.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in highly regulated, precision manufacturing, industrial automation, or advanced technology environments is preferred.
