Job Description

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of key Personal Care accounts across North America while driving new business growth within the segment. The Senior Account Manager will serve as a strategic partner to customers, working closely with internal technical and commercial teams to develop solutions, strengthen relationships, and deliver sustained revenue growth.

  • Manage and grow strategic Personal Care customer accounts throughout North America.
  • Develop and execute account plans focused on revenue growth, profitability, and customer retention.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with OEM, private label, and Personal Care manufacturers.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers across procurement, R&D, formulation, marketing, and executive leadership teams.
  • Lead customer meetings, business reviews, pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and commercial presentations.
  • Collaborate with product development, technical, marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to support new product launches and customer initiatives.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline, provide accurate forecasting, and gather market intelligence to support business strategy and future growth opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate is a driven sales professional with a strong track record of managing and growing strategic accounts within the Personal Care industry. They bring a consultative selling approach, experience working with OEM and/or private label customers, and the ability to navigate both technical and commercial conversations while identifying new business opportunities.

  • 5+ years of Account Management, Business Development, or Sales experience within the Personal Care industry.
  • Proven success managing and expanding relationships with OEM, private label, and/or branded Personal Care manufacturers.
  • Experience selling specialty materials, technical products, ingredients, chemicals, or related solutions into Personal Care markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to win new business while growing existing customer partnerships.
  • Strong consultative sales skills with experience engaging stakeholders across R&D, formulation, procurement, operations, and executive leadership.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with strong forecasting, pipeline management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities in a remote working environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
