The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Controller and Finance leadership team to help manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting across several entities. This individual will play a key role in month-end close, reconciliations, operational accounting, budgeting support, and maintaining strong internal controls.

Job Description

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and account reconciliations
  • Maintain balance sheet schedules and supporting documentation
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities
  • Manage and oversee AP, AR, cash activity, and bank reconciliations
  • Review and reconcile revenue reporting from POS and operational systems
  • Support accounting operations for hospitality, food & beverage, wellness, and related business units
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and KPI reporting
  • Support sales tax filings, audits, and compliance reporting
  • Ensure financial records are accurate and maintained in accordance with GAAP and internal controls

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of accounting experience, ideally within hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or multi-location operations
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and operational accounting principles
  • Experience supporting multiple entities or locations preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Familiarity with accounting software, payroll systems, and hospitality POS platforms
  • CPA or CPA-track preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Collaborative and proactive with a problem-solving mindset
  • Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
  • Operates with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
