As a result, they are looking to hire a Senior Accountant to play a key role in managing international reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and month-end close activities across a complex global environment. Reporting directly to the Controller, this position will partner closely with finance stakeholders across multiple countries and have significant exposure to international accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building processes, improving controls, and bringing structure to a fast-paced, high-growth organization.Job DescriptionThe successful Senior Accountant (Accounting Manager) will:Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities across multiple international entitiesPrepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, provisions, and other accounting adjustmentsReview general ledger activity and ensure financial data is complete and accurateSupport the preparation of management reporting packs and financial statementsPerform balance sheet reconciliations across multiple global entitiesReconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, tax, and other key accountsInvestigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in a timely mannerManage multi-currency accounting activities and foreign exchange reconciliationsMaintain supporting documentation and audit trails for reconciliations and accounting entriesOversee intercompany accounting, invoicing, cross-charges, settlements, and eliminationsCoordinate with finance teams across regions to ensure intercompany balances are alignedSupport internal and external audit requestsAssist with statutory reporting and compliance requirements where neededIdentify control gaps and recommend improvements to accounting processesSupport the automation and standardization of accounting and reconciliation activitiesPartner with Finance, HR, Procurement, and Operations teams to improve reporting accuracy and process efficiencyContribute to the ongoing development of finance systems, ERP processes, and reporting toolsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
