Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsOpportunity to grow quicklyWorking alongside senior leadershipAbout Our ClientPharmaceutical companyJob DescriptionOwn and manage the full monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Lead all technical accounting activities, including researching and implementing accounting guidance and preparing related documentation.Manage internal and external audits, serving as the primary point of contact for auditors and ensuring timely completion of audit requests.Oversee inventory accounting for a high-volume product portfolio of 1,000+ SKUs, ensuring accurate inventory valuation and reconciliation.Manage and reconcile complex intercompany transactions across multiple entities.Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with US GAAP and company accounting policies.Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting schedules.Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and increase operational efficiency.Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to support business initiatives and ensure accurate financial reporting.Mentor and develop members of the accounting team while fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
