Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence (BI) solutions to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and data warehouses for robust data storage and retrieval.
  • Create and manage dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present actionable insights.
  • Implement data quality and governance best practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Stay updated with emerging BI and data engineering tools and technologies.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, plus at least 6 years of experience in reporting, data warehouse development, and large-scale data migration.
  • 5 or more years of software development on the Microsoft BI stack, including MS SQL Server, with 4 years of OLTP database development using MS SQL.
  • Proven experience building data marts using dimensional modeling, and delivering complex, evaluative reports that require advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • 2 or more years creating dashboards and KPI visualizations using Power BI and or Tableau, with hands-on exposure to Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and cloud-based BI services.
  • Strong data engineering background, including Oracle, API-based data extraction, XML handling, TFS-based code management across environments, and core DBA tasks such as backup and restore.
