Job Description

  • Conduct daily inspections across active construction operations
  • Supervise underground utility installation (storm, sewer, water, fire, electrical/IT, mechanical)
  • Inspect paving, roadways, sidewalks, and ADA ramps
  • Verify compliance with approved plans, materials, and workmanship standards
  • Review water infrastructure components and installation practices
  • Monitor RCC and concrete placement activities
  • Evaluate soil testing, geotechnical data, and project specifications
  • Ensure regulatory and project compliance across all work
  • Observe paving operations and confirm proper methods and compaction

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years in civil inspection or construction supervision
  • Hands-on experience with underground utilities, roadway work, and site development
  • Knowledge of municipal, DOT, and utility regulations
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and reports
  • Proven experience working with contractors and project stakeholders
  • NICET, ICC, or similar certifications a plus
