Job Description

  • Create and refine PC-DMIS programs for a range of Hexagon CMM platforms (bridge, arm, portable)
  • Lead and execute First Article Inspections (FAI) in line with AS9102 requirements
  • Analyze complex engineering drawings and GD&T specifications per ASME Y14.5
  • Partner with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot dimensional issues
  • Manage inspection programs across high-mix, low-to-mid volume manufacturing runs
  • Support internal/external audits within an AS9100 Rev D framework
  • Generate detailed inspection documentation and reporting
  • Contribute to PPAP, FAIR, and control plan development initiatives
  • Maintain calibration schedules and ensure measurement system compliance

The Successful Applicant

  • 7+ years of CMM programming experience in precision manufacturing
  • Strong expertise in PC-DMIS, including offline programming capabilities
  • Hands-on experience with Hexagon CMM equipment (bridge, arm, portable)
  • Advanced GD&T knowledge aligned with ASME Y14.5-2018 standards
  • Direct exposure to AS9100 Rev D quality systems
  • Proven success executing and leading First Article Inspections (AS9102)
  • Ability to interpret complex blueprints and 3D CAD models (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks)
  • Solid understanding of MSA, calibration processes, and measurement uncertainty
