Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage an assigned accounts receivable portfolio and oversee collection efforts for outstanding balances.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to develop collection strategies and resolve payment issues.
  • Monitor at-risk accounts and drive timely resolution of aged receivables.
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding payment status, account inquiries, and invoice support.
  • Prepare collection reports, account reconciliations, and related documentation.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • Must be located in the Houston, TX area.
  • 3+ years of collections experience within a law firm or professional services environment required.
  • Strong accounts receivable and collections management experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
