Job Description

The Senior Development Associate will report directly to senior leadership and play a critical role in driving project execution from design through construction. You will be expected to take ownership of multiple developments simultaneously while ensuring alignment across timelines, budgets, and partners.

  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules from pre-development through construction start
  • Own project budgets, tracking costs and proactively identifying variances
  • Coordinate and manage third-party consultants including architects, engineers, and legal teams
  • Lead consultant and stakeholder meetings, ensuring accountability across all project participants
  • Oversee due diligence and entitlement processes, ensuring projects meet regulatory requirements
  • Support general contractor selection, bid analysis, and the transition into construction
  • Provide ongoing reporting to senior leadership, including budget, schedule, and risk updates

The Successful Applicant

For the Senior Development Associate - Residential Real Estate we are seeking:

  • 5+ years of real estate development experience, ideally within multifamily or condominium projects
  • Demonstrated experience taking at least one project from site control through construction start
  • Strong track record managing multiple projects, consultants, and timelines simultaneously
  • Experience with project budgeting, scheduling, and pre-development execution
  • Exposure to design coordination and ability to review architectural plans
  • Understanding of due diligence and entitlement processes
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong attention to detail and a high degree of ownership
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in a lean, fast-paced environment
