Job Description

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of federal construction operations.
  • Lead multiple project teams to ensure successful project delivery, profitability, safety, and client satisfaction.
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop operational strategies that support company growth objectives.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives across project management, field operations, and project controls.
  • Mentor and develop operational leaders while building succession plans throughout the organization.
  • Maintain relationships with federal agencies, contracting officers, and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor project performance metrics, financial results, resource planning, and staffing requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal contracting requirements, security protocols, and quality standards.
  • Support business development efforts and strategic pursuits within the federal construction market.
  • Collaborate directly with the COO on organizational initiatives and long-term operational planning

The Successful Applicant

  • US Citizen with the ability to pass federal background checks.
  • Extensive experience leading federal construction operations.
  • Proven success managing large, complex government construction programs.
  • Strong executive leadership experience within a federal contracting environment.
  • Experience overseeing multiple project teams, operational budgets, and resource planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and mentor high-performing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Pentagon, Department of Defense, Department of State, or other secure federal facility experience highly desired.
  • Exceptional client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and operational performance management experience.
