Job Description

  • Lead the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of engineering processes, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Drive new product development efforts while coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Take ownership of customer RFIs and RFQs, including technical responses, cost analysis, and project scheduling.
  • Oversee the development and testing of hardware prototypes to validate performance and manufacturability.
  • Establish and refine internal engineering and design standards.
  • Initiate and lead advanced technical studies, investigations, and development projects.
  • Support program planning, project execution, and business development initiatives.
  • Serve as a technical authority, providing guidance and solutions to complex engineering challenges.
  • Monitor project scope, timelines, and technical risks to ensure successful delivery.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering experience, or equivalent combinations of advanced education and experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
  • Strong experience testing electronic assemblies, circuit boards, and complex electronic systems.
  • Proven expertise troubleshooting hardware and test-related issues independently.
  • Experience developing advanced test methodologies and validation processes.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools and electronic design software.
  • Advanced object-oriented programming experience.
  • Expert-level analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong hardware and software debugging experience.
  • Deep understanding of industry standards and engineering best practices.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills with strong documentation abilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
