They partner with major industrial and energy clients to execute large-scale capital projects from engineering through construction, offering engineers the opportunity to work on technically challenging field assignments with significant project responsibility.Job DescriptionSupport field execution of electrical construction activities for large industrial power projects.Perform site walkdowns and verify installations comply with engineering drawings and specifications.Coordinate with construction managers, subcontractors, engineers, and client representatives to resolve field issues.Review electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, equipment layouts, and construction packages.Provide technical support for installation of:Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)Medium- and low-voltage power distribution systemsTransformersElectrical equipment and power centersAssist with equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and energization activities.Identify constructability concerns and recommend practical field solutions.Track project progress while maintaining quality and safety standards.Support brownfield construction activities while coordinating ongoing site work.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantA successful Senior Electrical Field Engineer should have:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline preferred.Approximately 8+ years of electrical engineering or field engineering experience.Strong experience supporting electrical construction or field execution.Experience with one or more of the following:Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)SubstationsUtility infrastructureTransformersIndustrial power systemsMedium-voltage power distributionAbility to interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and construction documents.Experience supporting commissioning, startup, or system energization is highly preferred.Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate between engineering and construction teams.Willingness to work full-time onsite.What's on OfferCompetitive hourly rate of $75-$90, depending on experience.Per diem available for qualified travelersLong-term project assignment (approximately 6-8 months)Opportunity to support a landmark industrial power infrastructure projectCollaborative onsite engineering and construction teamInterested?
