This individual will play a critical role in developing accurate, competitive cost estimates and supporting pursuits from conceptual budgeting through final GMP.This role is ideal for a seasoned estimator who enjoys collaboration, has strong market knowledge, and thrives in a fast‑paced, relationship‑driven environment.Job DescriptionPrepare detailed conceptual, schematic, and hard‑bid estimates for construction projects across multiple delivery methods (CM at Risk, Design‑Build, Lump Sum, etc.)Analyze drawings, specifications, and other contract documents to identify scope requirements and potential risksLead quantity takeoffs and pricing using historical cost data, subcontractor input, and market trendsSolicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and vendor bidsDevelop value engineering options and cost‑saving alternatives for clients and project teamsCollaborate closely with project management, operations, and business development teams during preconstructionParticipate in client meetings and presentations related to budgets, estimates, and preconstruction strategyMaintain and update cost databases, production rates, and estimating toolsMentor junior estimators and support the continuous improvement of estimating processesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
