Job Description



The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will:

  • Lead the transfer of new products and manufacturing processes into production environments.
  • Manage multiple manufacturing and product development projects from launch through commercialization.
  • Develop and implement robust manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and production methods.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, capacity, and safety.
  • Partner directly with customers and internal stakeholders to support technical project execution.
  • Provide day-to-day production support by troubleshooting process and equipment-related issues.
  • Create, revise, and maintain manufacturing documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Analyze manufacturing data and identify opportunities to improve operational performance.
  • Lead validation activities including equipment qualification and process validation protocols.
  • Support equipment commissioning, preventative maintenance programs, and process readiness activities.
  • Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to resolve technical and operational challenges.
  • Prepare engineering reports, project updates, and technical presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with quality, operations, development, and production teams to ensure on-time project delivery.
  • Drive best practices in manufacturing, process control, and operational excellence.

The Successful Applicant



The Senior Manufacturing Engineer should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) and product development processes.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience using statistical analysis tools such as DOE, regression analysis, process capability studies, and ANOVA.
  • Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks and experience designing tooling or fixtures.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
  • Experience leading process validation activities and manufacturing documentation development.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
