About Our Client

A growing U.S.-based industrial products manufacturer is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, safety, and cost performance across production operations. The ideal candidate brings experience with fabrication processes, CNC equipment, CAD software, and lean manufacturing principles, along with a strong ability to solve production challenges and optimize workflows.

Job Description

  • Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.
  • Conduct process studies and performance analysis to establish production standards and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support efficient product design and manufacturing execution.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues to minimize disruptions and improve overall performance.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, process optimization, and cost savings.
  • Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and workflow enhancements that support manufacturing goals.
  • Maintain manufacturing data and provide technical guidance, training, and support to production teams.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting process improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication, machining, assembly, and production workflows.
  • Experience using CAD software to create, modify, and review engineering designs and manufacturing documentation.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence methodologies.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Effective communicator and collaborative team player with the ability to train, coach, and support cross-functional teams.
