With a strong focus on advanced manufacturing, engineering excellence, and innovation, the company specializes in producing highly complex metal components and assemblies used in life-changing medical technologies, including surgical, orthopedic, robotic-assisted, and other critical healthcare applications.Job DescriptionLead manufacturing process development and optimization within a regulated production environment.Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles and data-driven decision-making.Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to improve quality, efficiency, and throughput.Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, standard work, validation protocols, and engineering specifications.Support new product introductions and product transfers from concept through production launch.Design and develop tooling, fixtures, gauges, and manufacturing equipment to improve productivity and reduce cost.Create, review, and approve engineering drawings, layouts, change orders, and technical documentation.Manage engineering projects independently, ensuring objectives are achieved on time and within budget.Lead process validations, material evaluations, and equipment qualifications.Partner with production, programming, quality, and supplier teams to improve manufacturability and operational performance.Own and manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities within assigned areas.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
