This is an exciting time to join the company as they are growing considerably right now and are working on expanding their product lines!Job DescriptionThe responsibilities of the Senior Mechanical Engineer include, but are not limited to:Collaborate with Clinical and cross‑functional teams to develop disposable products and accessories for the OCS platformDesign and develop electromechanical sub‑systems from concept through productionOwn CAD design, prototyping, testing, and iterative refinement of new product conceptsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, technicians, external design partners, and OEM manufacturersPerform detailed engineering analyses, including tolerance analysis, DFMEA, DOE, and statistical evaluations, to ensure compliance with design requirementsLead injection mold development by managing suppliers, tooling execution, and conformance to specificationsCreate and release engineering drawings and documentation in compliance with applicable standards, SOPs, and quality requirementsSupport Verification & Validation (V&V) activities, including protocol development, test fixture design, test execution, and report generationMaintain accurate and complete Design History Files (DHF), including design reviews, reports, and meeting documentationApply today for immediate consideration!MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
