Employees are empowered to innovate, influence product direction, and contribute to meaningful advancements in healthcare technology.Job DescriptionReporting directly into the Director of Mechanical Engineering, you will be responsible for the following:Lead mechanical design and development of disposable and durable medical device componentsCollaborate with clinical, quality, manufacturing, and external partners to translate concepts into production ready designsCreate 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications using SolidWorksDrive prototyping, testing, and iterative design improvementsPerform detailed engineering analyses including tolerance analysis, risk assessments, DOE, and statistical evaluationsDevelop and release documentation in compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standardsContribute to verification and validation activities, including protocol development, test execution, and reportingMaintain complete and accurate design history documentationProvide technical guidance to junior engineers, technicians, and external development partnersMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
